An extraordinary redevelopment of the grade II listed Brazilian Embassy building in the heart of Mayfair, becoming an ultra-high end private residential property, split over seven levels with over 140 individual zones of control.
Imperium Building Systems were employed to develop a fully integrated, intelligent Home Automation solution to manage the extensive Crestron AV and environmental controls infrastructure throughout this stunning property including:
- LTHW & hot water plant room
- Kitchen ventilation
- Radiators & towel rails
- Marble seat heating
- Underfloor heating
- Air conditioning
Through seamless integration of the these items into a single, holistic solution, residents enjoy complete control of the property’s heating, cooling, lighting and audio-visual systems via the Crestron displays. For example, a single room temperature setpoint in each zone offers the most intuitive way of managing comfort levels, with intelligent programming to ensure that behind the scenes heating and cooling systems don’t end up fighting against each other.
To deliver such advanced levels of intelligent control, Imperium manufactured 2 MCC control panels, including 6 controller outstations based on a combination of Distech Controls and North Building Technology components, at their in-house manufacturing facility in Carshalton Surrey. The panels were installed on site with a direct interface to the central Crestron AV system.
