A significant energy centre control system serving 98 new build residential units in the Islington area of London. Utilising a Combined Heat & Power (CHP) engine as the primary heat source for the development, along with various other HVAC systems, Imperium’s technical expertise was well suited to the demands of the project.
Imperium Building Systems were awarded the contract to design and supply the BMS control system for this impressive residential construction scheme. Appointed to Allenbuild Mechnical, Imperium provided a comprehensive system design service prior to commencing manufacture of all BMS control panels in-house, for the control and management of the following services at the site:
- CHP Engine – primary heat source
- 2 x Gas Fired Boilers – back up and boosted heat source
- Pumpsets – with full pressure-based speed control
- Energy Metering – for building optimisation and billing
The panels were later installed and commissioned, again by Imperium’s own in-house engineers, with a project completion of March 2019.
