contract value

circa £70,000

A significant energy centre control system serving 98 new build residential units in the Islington area of London.  Utilising a Combined Heat & Power (CHP) engine as the primary heat source for the development, along with various other HVAC systems, Imperium’s technical expertise was well suited to the demands of the project.

Imperium Building Systems were awarded the contract to design and supply the BMS control system for this impressive residential construction scheme.  Appointed to Allenbuild Mechnical, Imperium provided a comprehensive system design service prior to commencing manufacture of all BMS control panels in-house, for the control and management of the following services at the site:

  • CHP Engine – primary heat source
  • 2 x Gas Fired Boilers – back up and boosted heat source
  • Pumpsets – with full pressure-based speed control
  • Energy Metering – for building optimisation and billing

The panels were later installed and commissioned, again by Imperium’s own in-house engineers, with a project completion of March 2019.

Building Management Systems
The brain of a comfortable, efficient and connected building is the BMS. We work with the latest BMS technologies to deliver reliable, sustainable control to any building.
Building Optimisation
Optimisation of the BMS can significantly reduce operating costs, improve energy performance, maximise life-cycle value, and enhance occupant comfort and wellbeing.
Control Panel Manufacture
We build our own control panels in-house which leads to better project delivery and ensures we can achieve the stringent standards we set out in our quality control procedures.
Modern buildings host an array of complex technical systems that need to operate seamlessly together. We’re regarded as the leading experts of intelligent building design and system integration.
