BURTON HOUSE

Burton Park is a stunning 19th-century, Grade I listed country house set in its own estate in the parish of Duncton, West Sussex.  Now converted into significant flats, home owners enjoy prime living set against a back-drop of stunning, peaceful views across the estate.

Imperium were approached by one owner who had recently relocated from the States, and were briefed with creating a modern living environment incorporating audio & visual, heating and shading systems.  Importantly, all components had to be entirely wireless in nature, owing to restrictions around permitted alterations and fixtures to the flats’ interior.

The team at Imperium created a simple, cost effective, yet fully integrated home control and automation solution using well known brands that deliver quality and reliability:

• SONOS wireless speakers were distributed throughout the rooms to provide whole home music and TV audio
• Honeywell Evohome was deployed to turn the existing radiators into smart heating zones
• Somfy blinds were installed to provide shading and privacy

Imperium worked closely with other trades to create discreet solutions that meant the period features of the propertys’ interior were not disrupted by the use of modern technology.
